Never Tell Me the Odds!
The object of the game is to reach 20 points without going over that total, or at least come closer than your opponent. The player with the nearest sum to 20 wins the round, and the player who captures three rounds wins the match. Drawing from the main deck, each player creates a personal sidedeck of ten cards. Four of these sidedeck cards are randomly chosen when the round starts.
The four selected sidedeck cards make up the player’s hand cards. The players take turns playing one of their cards; each card either adds or subtracts its value from your total. Some cards allow you to choose between addition or subtraction, and the rare Double Card and Tiebreaker Card can quickly reverse the fortunes of the game. The hand cards are available during the entire match. However, each hand card can be played only once. If the scores of the two players are equal, the round does not count.
