eg Embry has a closet full of dreams. Her problem is that all of the hangers are empty. A doting granddaughter, a submissive fiancé and a struggling business owner, she doesn’t know if who she is, is who she wants to be. Will she end up like her kind-hearted but felonious grandfather, her eccentric, vodka-drinking grandmother or her moonstruck aunt? If she’s honest, the best answer is “none of the above.”
Armed with nothing more than the support of her two closest friends, Cory who can make her laugh and Charlotte who will let her cry and the forbidden but growing interest in a handsome stranger, Meg learns that what she wants isn’t necessarily what she needs, and that sometimes love, family and betrayal are bound together forever by lily white lies.

A fine, honest account of close combat in Vietnam. This is a clearly-written, tough-minded memoir of the grunt’s war, the brutal, exhausting and morally challenging long patrols and lightning-quick collisions with death at the muddy, bloody bottom of the chain of command, strategy and politics. Every veteran of the era, as well as today’s soldiers and civilian readers, will find each moment spent with this book worthwhile.”
- Ralph Peters, Retired U.S. Army officer, Fox News strategic analyst, Author of Endless War
Then A Soldier portrays the social and cultural pressures that led a Jewish boy from the Bronx of the early 1960s to become a career Army officer, and, when his country was at war, to seek out a combat assignment. It is the story of a young man setting out to prove that Jews could be good soldiers as he simultaneously embarks on an uncommon assimilation strategy to enter the WASP establishment.
The book describes a time and place in American society that no longer exist– when ancestry and religion could determine what school you attended, the zip codes in which you could live, and to an extent, the professions you could enter. The book explains how these influences and a growing awareness of the history of the Holocaust combined to encourage the author’s entry to ROTC in college, and from there, the decision to make the Army a career.
Then A Soldier is the story of the most important year of the author’s life– a year in combat in which he discovers that he is an Everyman-soldier, no more afraid and no less effective in combat than other soldiers. It is the story of a young man testing himself and finding a new dimension of his makeup.

he year is 1945. Germany is on her knees. The Allies are streaming into Germany from all sides. The end of World War II is near. Even so, some of Hitler’s most secret plans are beginning to yield success. Some of these plans are familiar; some are not. Some are lost; others live only to rise again. This is a story steeped in truth…
It is a massive secret. One largely unknown to the Allies until well after the war ends. It is a secret that could potentially destroy the world’s economy regardless of the war’s outcome. It is the Third Reich’s most closely held plan; even more secret than the German nuclear or rocket propulsion programs but as threatening nonetheless.
Sixty-six years later, Dana and Randall Finley are in the midst of an anthropology expedition in the rainforests of the Amazon when they are kidnapped by mysterious men in black and taken to a vast underground complex. Their situation is dire.
Back in Miami, Florida, former U.S. Navy SEAL Dane Skoglund stumbles across a sinister, shady group dealing in precious metals and death. When he learns his sister and brother-in-law are missing, Dane is drawn into action.
Unknown to all but a select few, the stronghold in the Amazon jungle is the key to the Nazi’s real goal to rule the world by destroying the world’s economy. Dane follows the trail to this jungle lair to rescue his sister’s group and encounters the Germans firsthand.

he end of the world, December 23. Nuclear war has come and gone, but planet Earth is now a radioactive graveyard, where the laws of physics no longer apply; the dead walk, and angels, demons and ghosts apparently populate the planet.
A survivor to this backdrop of horror is a scientist and medical doctor, Jack Calisto, whose wife had foreseen Armageddon shortly before she died two years earlier. He constructed a facility to take care of survivors and to ensure a small community of human beings survived. Plagued by mutants called Maddogs,
Jack and his people are also faced with irradiated horrors called Stiffers – zombie-like monstrosities that kill without reason. Jack is assisted by a mysterious entity that will not reveal itself to him – called the Guardian Angel. The Angel is actually the reincarnation of his dead wife who has come back to help him battle the forces of evil now unleashed on Earth. She is a bird by day, and turns human by night when Jack is asleep. She can only communicate to him in the written word, and informs him of a young woman he must save, Laura, who may be the new Eve to mankind. Jack Calisto is both scientist and warrior, up against impossible odds, in a world that now defies every known law of nature.
