Live, Learn, Lead: A Lifelong Journey of Leadership and Purpose
Everyone Starts SomewhereHave you ever questioned whether your story matters or wondered if your path could lead others forward? In Live, Learn, Lead: A Lifelong Journey of Leadership and Purpose, Joan Zanders shares encouragement, connection, and valuable leadership lessons drawn from decades of professional, volunteer, and life experiences.Throughout her journey, Joan embraced her father's wisdom and advice given to her: "Make the world a better place for your having been here." That guiding principle shaped her many leadership opportunities, some quite unexpected, and her deep belief that leadership is always a collaborative effort-never a solo act.
She emphasizes that her story is not the story of a "one-woman band," but rather the result of embracing input and support from countless colleagues, family, and friends who walked with and beside her on her journey. With warmth and honesty, Joan invites readers to reflect on their own journeys while learning from hers.
Her hope is that every reader will take away encouragement and insight from this lifelong exploration of leadership and purpose.
