Rewiring the White Collar Mind
A quarter century ago, Charles Price was a successful and respected lawyer. So why was he miserable? After some serious soul-searching, he realized the truth. Education and work experience had misled him into believing that it was possible to be in total control of outcomes, that money is the ultimate measure of worth, and that success is more important than our connections with others.
Maybe you're a professional like Charles, someone constantly earning raises and bonuses and commendations, yet every day you go home feeling unfulfilled, depressed, and stewing over what went wrong instead of what went right.
If this describes you, then Rewiring the White Collar Mind can help. Full of Charles's hard-earned experience and backed by scientific data, this book explains in detail how professional training and experience can steer us away from being balanced and centered. It features valuable anecdotes and actionable advice to help you rewire your relationship with yourself and your career.
In this book, you'll learn:
